Pilot, part of Eucalyptus brands and one of Australia’s fastest-growing men’s health brands, tasked Story Machine with creating two direct response ads for BVOD, Meta, and YouTube. The primary objectives were to drive viewers to the Pilot website, boost sales, and increase brand awareness. Given the time-sensitive nature of the campaign aligned with the Olympics, Story Machine needed to produce the ads within an extremely tight three-week deadline, from concept to network delivery. Additionally, both ads were required to be produced in one day to maximise the client’s ROI for production.
We developed and executed two engaging concepts, ensuring both ads were shot in a single 10-hour production day to maximise efficiency and ROI. This approach not only reduced costs but also allowed us to meet the three-week deadline from concept to network delivery. The ads featured humorous and relatable content designed to resonate with the target audience and drive engagement.
Director Ben Mathews, known for his expertise in comedy, helmed the project, ensuring that the humour was executed flawlessly. We filmed at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in Sydney, leveraging its facilities to create an authentic sports setting.
