TEDx and Microsoft commissioned Story Machine to create an inspiring and emotive documentary-style promotional video for a TEDx Microsoft event in Sydney. The objective was to address how we create a sense of belonging and connection in a post-Covid world where physical isolation became the norm. The key deliverables included a 3-5 minute main video along with 6”, 15”, and 30” second pre-planned stand-alone cut downs. These videos were to be used as promotional material on platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and digital media partners like Nine, as well as during the event itself.
Our approach aimed to transform the crisis into an opportunity to redefine belonging. By using interviews with key thinkers and insightful experts, along with dynamic footage and great editing, our goal was to craft a powerful and thought provoking video that helped promote the event.
