What’s a Video Treatment?
A video treatment is an essential document in the video production process that outlines the concept and vision for your video. It provides a detailed description of how it answers the brief and conveys how the concept will come to life onscreen.
We create video treatments during the pre-production phase in response to a client brief. Once a brief is received, and any initial questions are answered, we allocate the best director and producer for the video and develop the treatment.
Why a Video Treatment is So Important:
- Clarity and Vision: Provides a comprehensive outline of the video’s concept, style, and structure.
- Client Alignment: Ensures that the client’s vision and expectations are understood and met.
- Creative Direction: Guides the production team with detailed descriptions of scenes, characters, and settings.
- Efficiency: Streamlines the production process by providing a reference point for all stakeholders.
Video treatments are invaluable for aligning the creative vision with client expectations, ensuring everyone is on the same page before moving forward to concept approval. This step helps in fine-tuning the narrative and optimising the visual and structural elements of the video.
